Working Dogs

The "mustering" process is amazing. The shepherds and their dogs are so skilled. This usually happens before we arrive to dock but we have seen a couple musters. Each shepherd has about 5-7 dogs and each dog has about 8 whistle commands to make them do various things (turn left, right, come back, etc). So the shepherd has about 40 commands in their head and is constantly commanding each dog. I am going to try to make a video before we leave because it really is a sight.

The Crofoot border collie just had puppies. They look like little border collie hamsters they are so small. We hope that get a little bigger before we go so we can play with them!
