Palmerston North/Boston Reunion

We arrived in Palmerston North on Monday afternoon. "Palmy" is a college town, home to Massey University (second largest university in New Zealand), a couple hours north of Wellington. Steve knew, through several degrees of separation, a fellow Bostonian/climber who expatriated to Palmerston. As it turns out, Matt Natti is pretty much the king of the Palmerston North climbing scene.

Matt and some of his friends let us in on some of the better cliffs and boulders in the area, so we spent three days climbing and bouldering around Palmerston.

Spring in Palmerston is known for its bad weather (it was cold, windy and rainy every day) but redeemed by its beautiful sunsets.
