Castlepoint Station: Part II

We arrived back in Castlepoint on Thursday afternoon (for those who do not remember, Castlepoint Station is where we did all of the docking in early October). We originally planned on arriving Saturday morning but decided we were done with Palmerston North and ready to see the Crofoots!

On Friday we went out with Roger to muster for a few hours. This was the first time we got to see the mustering process all the way through. When we docked we only saw the sheep when they were already near the yards. In this case it was cattle and calves, but same idea! The lambs have grown tremendously! Below are some comparison photos to show how much 6 weeks can do!


Many are nearly as large as their mothers (which incidentally is the goal)!
